How to use Synergy?

Hi,

Synergy is a nice tools for sharing one keyboard and mouse through computer networks. More details can be found here. First of all, open the synergy configuration file at ~/.synergy.conf or /etc/synergy.conf and type something like that:

section: screens
        myserver:
        myclient:
end
section: links
        myserver:
                right = myclient
        myclient:
                left = myserver

end

After that, run your synergy client and server:

From the server, run the command:

synergys

From the client, run the command:

synergyc SERVER_HOSTNAME

Maybe you need to edit /etc/hosts on server side before to execute synergy. So, type something like that:

10.10.66.1        myclient

That’s all,
